BALTIC OPEN MMA CHEMPIONSHIP 2024

On May 4, 2024, the Baltic Open MMA Championship took place at the Jonava Sports Arena, which has become a traditional competition organized by the “Fighteris” sports club and LMMAF. Over 200 participants from 21 sports clubs took part in the competition. These included the Estonian national team (comprising 4 sports clubs) and the Latvian national team “MMA Team Latvia”, which included representatives from our club, Gracie Barra Brasa. Spectators also had the opportunity to watch fighters from Japan and Ukraine. The competition was fierce, and winning the title of champion proved to be a challenging task. Children under 12 and under 14 fought on the tatami, while youth and adults fought in two MMA cages. In addition to the main adult MMA fights, there were also children’s and youth MMA fights. Many representatives of these age groups participated, showing impressive and memorable fights. As a result of the competition, athletes from Gracie Barra Brasa won 2 bronze, 4 silver, and 1 gold medals! We would like to give special recognition to Daniel Freiberg, who became the new Baltic champion! We wholeheartedly congratulate Daniel on his victory and wish him luck and continued success in his sporting endeavors.
