Maija Duffy Wins Silver at the European NO-GI Jiu-Jitsu Championship for Kids in Dublin

This week in Dublin, the sports hall rumbled like a tired drum player, as the European NO-GI Jiu-Jitsu Championship for Kids brought together young fighters from all across Europe. Among them stepped our own Maija Duffy, who entered the mats with calm focus and iron determination, earning a silver medal.

Maija’s performance was like a well-folded combo: fast, precise, and full of heart all the way to the last grain of a second. She not only carried the colors of Latvia but also showed that mastery has nothing to do with age. Silver in this tournament is more than just metal.
