On 3 October, our children’s Jiu-Jitsu team will travel to Tallinn, Estonia, to compete in a youth tournament stage held within the Youth Jiu-Jitsu Alliance.
The competition will bring together young athletes and provide them with an opportunity to test their skills against new opponents, gain valuable competitive experience and continue their development in an international sporting environment.
For our team, this tournament is another important step in the season. The young athletes are working hard in training, developing their technique, fight strategy, physical conditioning and ability to remain focused under pressure on the mat.
Youth Jiu-Jitsu competition is about much more than medals. It teaches discipline, perseverance, respect for opponents, confidence and the ability to deal with both victory and defeat. Every match provides valuable experience and contributes to the development of a young athlete.
Taking part in international competitions also gives our children the opportunity to meet athletes from other countries, experience different styles of Jiu-Jitsu and put the skills they have developed in training into practice.
